New to Pet Watch? Here are the answers to the questions we hear most from pet parents across the UAE.

What is Pet Watch and how does it work?

Pet Watch is a UAE-based pet care app that connects pet parents with certified pet sitters and dog walkers in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah. You download the app, create a profile for your pet, browse verified sitters near you, and book a service in minutes. During every visit, you receive real-time photo updates and GPS tracking.

Are the pet sitters on Pet Watch trustworthy and vetted?

Yes. Every sitter on Pet Watch goes through a thorough background check, completes our pet care certification program, and is assessed in person before joining the platform. All sitters are reviewed by real customers, and their profiles show their experience, ratings, and the types of pets they work with.

Which services does Pet Watch offer?

Pet Watch currently offers dog walking, drop-in pet visits, in-home pet sitting, day care, and overnight stays for both cats and dogs. Additional services including grooming and pet transportation are coming soon.

How much does Pet Watch cost in the UAE?

Pricing varies by service. Dog walks start from AED 55 per session. Premium and overnight services are also available. All prices are shown upfront in the app - no hidden fees.

Is Pet Watch available across the UAE?

Pet Watch currently operates in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah, with sitters available across communities including JVC, Downtown Dubai, Marina, Jumeirah, Arabian Ranches, Khalifa City, Yas Island, Al Furjan, Motor City, and more.

Can I use In-App chat to communicate with my sitter?

Yes. Pet Watch supports In-App chat communication for direct messaging with your sitter. Our customer support team is also reachable via email in the app during business hours, with a response time of under 15 minutes.

What happens if there's a pet emergency during a booking?

Pet Watch sitters are trained in basic pet first aid and follow a clear emergency protocol. In the event of a health concern, your sitter will contact you immediately and can connect you to our partner's veterinary network. Customer support is available throughout every booking.

Is Pet Watch suitable for use during UAE summer heat?

Absolutely. All Pet Watch sitters are briefed on UAE heat safety guidelines, including safe outdoor walk times (early morning or after sunset during summer), hydration requirements, and breed-specific sensitivities. Your pet's safety in extreme weather is always the priority.

How do I cancel or change a booking?

Review the official Cancellation Policy page on the app or website for specific conditions and refund rules.
